Within close walking distance to the lively Chinatown, fantastic restaurants, and captivating sights like the beautiful Yarra River and the vibrant Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the city's bustling attractions, making it convenient for families like ours to enjoy.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities within the hotel.

The hotel has great transport links with tram stops close by which made it easy to access Melbourne's main attractions. The hotel was in the heart of the city, near to the main shopping malls and had stunning views of the surrounding buildings. The staff provided excellent service, making sure our room was perfect for us.

The décor of the hotel was dated and in need of renovation.

My recent stay at Hotel Grand Chancellor was fantastic! I stayed for a short trip and was pleasantly surprised by the well-appointed room, complete with comfortable arm chairs and a Juliet balcony. The heated rooftop pool was a true highlight, and the generous breakfast, including sausages, hash browns, eggs. The location was perfect, with easy access to Chinatown, live theatre shows, and the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the discounted valet car parking next door was convenient.

The Standard King Room at Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne was absolutely stunning! The modern bathroom and superior amenities made me feel pampered, and the King sized bed was so comfy. The views of the townsville skyline from the Harbour View Suites were breathtaking! As a guest who loves modern comfort and beautiful views, I was completely satisfied.

The individually controlled air conditioning was a bit tricky to figure out.

Staff helped with heavy baggage on my first stay. Perfect for me with Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, fitness center, outdoor pool, sauna. Going back for trip.

I had a great stay at this hotel in the centre of the city. It was a perfect location, with many theatres and everything within walking distance. The room service and bell staff were exceptional, providing ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities. I also enjoyed the fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool.

I loved this hotel for its location, conveniently accessible to public transport, and walking distance to Bourke Street mall and great restaurants. The staff was friendly and upgraded me to a luxurious Premiere King Suite upon raising concerns about my initial room. The clean room had a small balcony with fresh air.

Oh, and did I mention the room door? It was a struggle to open and close, and made such pleasant noises.

Convenient location, great breakfast, clean room, friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice view.
